Market Place, Warminster
So Much To See And Do On Holiday Or Living Here... Warminster is a small market town located just 30 minutes drive from both the Roman city of Bath, a world  heritage site, and the cathedral city of Salisbury. Warminster is also just 20 minutes drive from the historical  town of Shaftesbury, and the world renowned gardens of Stourhead, and 5 minutes drive from the famous Longleat Safari and Adventure Park. Other well known destinations just minutes away include Heaven’s  Gate, CenterParcs Longleat Forest, Lacock, and Shearwater Lake. Numerous events go on in and around  Warminster including the free Warminster Carnival, the free Warminster Vintage Bus Run Day, Warminster Model Railway Exhibition, within about 10 miles are the superb Gillingham & Shaftesbury Agricultural Show and Frome Cheese & Agricultural Show, other events can be found in the ‘What’s On’ and Stourhead sections.

Shopping... Warminster caters well for most every day items. Food shopping is catered for by independent  butchers, a grocer, and major supermarkets including Morrisons, Waitrose (from spring 2012), Lidl, and  Iceland. Places To Eat Around Warminster... There are numerous pubs serving food, and cafes such as Moretons in the Market Place, Cornmarket Cafe, and Le Cafe Journal. There are also  wonderful country pubs serving excellent food just a short drive from Warminster, these include the Angel Inn at Heytesbury, the Bath Arms at Crockerton, the Lamb Inn at Hindon, the Spread Eagle at Stourhead, and the Angel Inn at Upton Scudamore
